Well I started to write a song about colorado
But I wrote it in my head, neglected to write it down
Now I can't remember a word, not a line nor a rhyme
Yes regretfully i've almost forgotten what it's about

sharper curves and steeper grade to red rock sunshine

Saturn, venus, jupiter soon arrive with mars

Now a moon lit Poudre canyon winding all the time
Comes to reach to a snowy bank where kooky Aunt Ann resides
And from there you can see the Colorado majesty
High Plains and front range, Pike’s peak divine

Oh yes, it sure is something to behold
