“You ever break a string? We manufacture those as well. B-strings, E-Strings, D-strings, and especially G-strings”

A big step up for the boys. The big room at Asheville Music Hall. A first. Not the last. Enjoy this fun set.

Cryptic transition from “Geddup” to “Clyde.” But hey, it worked. Brian broke a string right after the Clyde jam (a good one). He can’t “pick the bass and sing the blues” without one. “Lady I love” performed sans bass while Brian restrung. It’s very pretty. Brian later references his breakage during “Brian’s Wonk Factory.”

Slow dreamy start to “Space for Days.” Jam turns into a Little Feat esque boogie with Jake taking a squishy sax solo.

Laura jam starts with an exploration of fourths and moves on to an exploration of fifths. Back to fourths. Then Ben and Louis do a Mario-like chromatic trill. Then comes the classic fruit chant.

Band is starting to test the waters “Tightrope” with Brian on lead vox and Louis on bass. Recording coming to ya fall of 23’

“2 legs” shreds. Always a great way to cap off a show.
